Membership delay

Hi. I don't know if this is the correct place to be asking this question but I upgraded my membership a few hours ago via PayPal and I'm still waiting for the upgraded benefits.
How long should this normally take to be processed?

Have you not sent any? Hmmm... I was in the showcase listening around yesterday (enjoyed your songs, btw:) ... and someone had mentioned that you were a prior member, so I figured maybe you were using that feature.

Just in case not, I just sent you one- it went through fine. Try responding to that and see if it sends. I also sent one to Phil. I dunno... I wasn't aware that anyone could be "blocked" other than if you choose to specifically block someone from contacting you.

Up grade is manual; you will need to wait for Phill to activate it.

New members have no PM privileged. this was removed because of spamming done by some new members in the past. You will have the PM button when your time come.

Hey Legend, it took a couple of days to go through when I upgraded my membership. Phil has to activate it (I'm assuming, next time he comes into the office, if there is one).

I wasn't a member in my previous reincarnation here and I wouldn't know Phil if I tripped over him so I assume I've done nothing to tinkle him off. Also I'm not a spammer but I remember the unusual way this place is run from the last time I was here.

I guess I'll just wait for your man Phil to come into the 'office' and manually upgrade me *sigh*

I got to browsing around on youtube yesterday, looking up a couple songs, and I ran across some vids of Janice Joplin. I've never known much about her, never really listened to her (until frequenting karaoke, thought "Bobby McGee" was only ever done by Loretta Lynn) ... so I'd never even really seen pics of her, other than an oddball one that may have flashed in an advertisement or something.

She was a nut. I watched her on a talk show, and she cracked me up, she was funny as hell. So I spent about an hour looking up all the videos I could find of her. Wish I'd have known more of her earlier on, she interests me. I had figured her as some hard azz older rocker chick... and she was a toughie, but much younger and simpler than I had imagined. Too bad she had the dark side that ended her life, she seemed so vibrant and full of life in the vids I watched.

Ria, did you get upgraded yet? I was told it could take 24-48 hours to go through. You might want to write to Phill at: webmaster (at) karaokescene (dot) com. Hope this helps!

As most of you know - I am not on here very often anymore - too busy trying to make money
